    Customer Service Representative: All you need is:

    • High School Diploma or GED

    Lab experience preferred; customer service experience preferred.

     

    In addition, you will need:

    • Familiarity with medical terminology
    • Strong computer literacy with good typing skills, 45 words per minute
    • Excellent research, problem solving and follow up skills
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve ongoing problems
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills both with internal and external clients
    • To be a dependable and reliable team player able to work independently and as part of a goal-oriented team with a positive attitude
    • To be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations and maintain professionalism and composure

    In this role you will:

    • Receive a large volume of calls from physicians, patients and internal staff regarding test results, supply orders, test verifications, name changes, billing adjustments and other miscellaneous information
    • Demonstrate excellent research, problem solving and follow up skills
    • Troubleshoot and resolve ongoing problems
    • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills both with internal and external client
    • Meet or exceed daily production standards
    • Complete special projects and assist team members with various customer service tasks as needed
